Zip-Up Hoodies
i’m getting my first batch of zip-up hoodies in a few hours. i’ll probably sell them all this weekend,but that’s a good thing. i can order the 2nd batch monday. if you order a hoodzip,bitch at me for your free t-shirt and stickers. i understand $40 is a nice chunk of change,so i try to hook everyone up.

i took some time off to travel and work with Orchid Footwear. i thought i was done with Badashell. the public all of a fuckin’ sudden wanted to buy some winter clothes. long story short,i started Badashell back up. i’ve been doing this company off and on since late 2001. maybe i’ll stick with it this time.

Jai Lonergan-the “all of a fuckin sudden!” interview
it’s getting warmer out so that means Jaibone is already heavy into digging. i hit him up for some info.
1)how old are you and do you have any sponsors/hook-ups? Im 36 years old. S &M bikes hooks me up with the freshest rides, thanks chris!. T1 has always been good to me! got etnies on my feet and the source bike shop keeps my ride dialed.
2)where are some of the places you have lived? i’ve lived in easton and bethlehem pa and westminster/hunington beach ca.
3)can you explain to everyone why you don’t really come out on weekends where it’s warm out? i dont come out on the weekends during trail season anymore. working landscape construction and being 36 i only have a certain amount of energy. i use to go out on the weekends and get to the trails at 2 pm on a saturday. now im at the trails by 10 am on a sat and it feels way better than wasting half the day. i use to feel like i was missing something fun by not going out but i def know now that im not! im at the point again in my life where im dead serious about riding.
4)do you go to skateparks or ride street ever? It happens in spurts but i love to ride skateparks, especially concrete ones that flow like trails. my days of street riding are pretty much over unless it has tranny. with a bad back and tennis elbow in both, my days of bunny hopping are over.
5)at your local trails,how much digging time do you usually put in? i spend about 4 to 5 days a week digging at the trails in the spring. every weekend all weekend until the trails are done! then its maintenance every time it rains until winter.
6)who are some riders that you enjoy watching ride? i could watch aitken and hawk all day. taj is another one. and of course the trails crew! they all shred.

Jolly Ranchers and Junior Mints
it’s thursday and the big news in BMX is that there is no news. i found a great new place to pick up girls-the grocery store. i’m into buying mass amounts of snacks. i wanna get the team co-sponsored by Jolly Rancher! they are delicious! i think i’m also gonna try to hook up a deal with Junior Mints. i’ve also got some other nutritional supplements in mind.

Source demo in South Bethlehem!
The Source and Homebase are having a demo april 25th like 3 blocks from my house. should be a great time! come out and support! there will be givaways and shirts for sale from Badashell so cash those checks! i’m sure there will be many other ways to help build the Bethlehem Skateplaza,too.

FBM is holding the 3rd brawling at the belmar contest august 1st and 2nd. the next weekennd DK is bringin back the dirt circuit contest in dayton,OH. the FBM contest is my favorite one i’ve ever been to,so expect me up there this year. i’ve never been to a DK dirt circuit contest,and i really wanna go to this one. it is getting warmer out,so more BMX contests should be upcoming.

Jump For Joy 14!
really good time yesterday. i was having fun seeing people who i haven’t seen in years at this comp. i didn’t bother setting up my stuff to sell because there wasn’t really any room. the level of competition wasn’t really high in the pro class. clipper entered,but he somehow failed to make finals. i think it’s because he doesn’t tailwhip. the only names i even recognized in pro were crazy black,ben hittle,and black rob. i guess every kid wants to turn pro at 16. everyone pretty much hung outside and smoke and drank. everybody just took it easy and tried to have fun. here’s a pic from the bar afterwards:
